A beautiful service. I will always remember Uncle`s happiness. My most memorable moment was when he was in Melbourne and I just got my Learner`s Permit. He celebrated me getting my Learner`s Permit with such joy. He made me feel so happy. I wish I thanked you for that as I always reflected upon that.

He is my family member he is my uncle my condensed to the family auntie Nancy Malcolm and Ashley. I wish I was there my condensed to your family Jesus my name amen. I am so grateful that I can get to watch this.

My heartfelt condolences to Aunty Nancy, Malcolm, Ashley, and the entire family.
I was still quite young the last time Ziju Charlie visited Malta, but one story from that stay has stayed with me since.
There was an almond tree next to my grandparent’s house, and I spent a whole week trying to reach the fruit, only managing to get the almonds hanging lowest. Ziju Charlie saw me struggling and later told me that a truck had passed by and hit the tree, knocking lots of almonds to the ground. I ran back and, sure enough, found the ground covered in them. It was only later that I realised he had shaken the tree himself while I wasn’t looking.
During that same visit, he cooked excellent pastizzi and carried that same warm smile throughout his time with us. My father always spoke of him as a true gentleman and often told me about the great days they spent fishing together.
Rest easy, Ziju Charlie.
